Dear Sisters, The much anticipated 2020 is here! Happy New Year family. I trust that you had a wonderful and love-filled holiday. I did. This year I pray that you shall work in abundance, you shall move in the speed of the holy ghost, and you shall be profusely favoured. At the start of the year, I said to myself “I will read a lot of familiar Bible stories again and again”. This resolution was borne out of the revelations I caught in December when I did a study of the book of Luke, I realised there were lots of things I assumed how it occurred. Assumptions from bible school days and fellowships. Unfortunately, these assumptions aren’t how some of these bible accounts happened. They have been paraphrased so much that the accuracy of scriptures has been lost. That is why it is essential not to get too familiar with the things of the Spirit and ensure that what we know of God is what is contained in the scriptures. We must find and know God for ourselves.
