Dedication List

Hey Sisters, You have no idea how glad I am to be write to you. So, this post is basically to share my thoughts on 'dedication list'. At the just-concluded Shiloh (an annual gathering of the Winners' Family for encounters through the word), a message was preached on Dedication. As the message was going on, I flipped to the other side of my note and started drawing out my dedication list. Beneath it, I wrote "Never negotiate your commitment with the devil". Oh yes, its a way of harassing myself😀😀😀 After I drew it, I had it pasted on a smooth surface in my room where I could see it as many times as possible in a day. I took practical steps the following day or maybe even that day (can't really remember) by ticking off a few of them. Thankfully, I have been able to achieve them and I have been praying to God for consistency because it's key. It's never enough to start. Each day, I see myself not just trying to abide by the list but living th

Impact Your World

Dear Sisters, I count it a great privilege each time I am opportune to be here to share what our Father has laid in my heart for us this season. Such an honour, one that I remain grateful for. I hope you have had a November to remember. May God make all grace abound towards us all. Amen. I was at my desk at work when a retired staff of the institution walked in, and he began to greet everyone he knew from way back. While there was the feeling of excitement in the air, some thought and questions stirred up on my inside and the answer to my question is part of what informed today's post. Seeing this retired colleague made me say to myself "so it that all about life? Work for 35 years and then what?" Well, I got a nudge in response which said to me "you are made for more, to impact your world". Immediately the holy spirit reminded me of the bible passage I had read earlier in the day, 1 Peter 4:8‭-‬10 where Peter was admonishing believers on how to live

Worrying in motion?

Dear Sisters, I want you to know that writing to you each time on this platform for me is always a privilege that I do not take for granted. I acknowledge that the grace of God is mighty in our midst, and each time the Word of God is shared; the breath of the Almighty is present. Welcome to the month of November, it shall be your best month yet. Your testimonies this month shall surpass all that you have experienced from January to October. Today's discussion isn't something that is unfamiliar.  I consider it one of the cliched subject matter. However, I pray that as you read, you will be blessed. Recently, on a Saturday, I took my second son for immunization, and while on our way, I felt we were running a bit behind the scheduled time for vaccination at the hospital. I wasn't the one driving, but I was driving. What I mean is that I was thinking of how fast the diver could have moved, how he could have avoided a port-whole for us to save time. I did this so much

The Word of God in your Mouth

Hello Beautiful, We thank God for the outpouring of His presence at the just concluded Convention. We are thankful for the testimonies that abound and the lives that were transformed. To God alone be all the glory. The Word of God is so powerful that He had to become the word in flesh. The bible says "and without him was not anything made that was made". This says something: nothing can be created or altered outside the Word. The change we seek starts with the Word of God in our mouth. Let me give you the proper context of what I am talking about: "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone." - John 1:1‭-‬4 If we are Word made then everything about us must be word-controlled. We must always have the Wor

This Prayer Thing!

Hello Dearest, I trust that you are doing well. It is with great pleasure that I share this message with you, which I believe, is the Word for the season. From the title, I am sure you already have an idea into what I will be sharing today and I trust God to simplify this to you beyond the letters here. At the beginning of the this month, September, God began to emphasise this to me through diverse platforms. From my book for the month - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer to the Word for the month in Church to the last two episodes of "My Jesus Experience" I watched on "MyLightHouse Tv" channel on YouTube to a WhatsApp group bible study, it has all been centred on "Prayer". "Prayer is a difference maker. An invitation for honesty, yes, for telling him how you feel - infused with the assurance and fearless confidence that comes from God's promises." - Priscilla Shirer  Remember the bible says to us that "men always ought

Leaning on your Understanding?

Hello Beautiful! It is my pleasure to be here, sharing with you one of the things I believe our Father wants you to hear this season. Before we proceed, I would like to remind you that you matter to God and He is "crazy" about you. So much so, He knows each strand of your hair and you worth much more than a flock of sparrow (Matthew 10:31, Luke 12:7). What a privilege! Take time to meditate on that, He is such a loving Father.  Let's dive right in: On a beautiful evening, I was in my room searching and writing Scriptures concerning my boys when my older son walked in and insisted on having a paper and scissors. To do what, I asked? He responded in many words but clearly I understood that he wanted to cut it into shapes, particularly Circle, Triangle and Square shapes. I obliged him and gave him what he asked for with the hope that, that would keep him busy while I do my thing.  Few minutes into doing what he thought he could do, he would not just le

The Wheat and The Weed

Dear Sisters, I trust the month of August has been (and will be) filled with divine encounters for you.  A word of encouragement before we dive right into what God has for us today: "Sometimes a drag in your faith and spiritual fire could mean you're doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing and doing it well, at that." - Priscilla Shirer  Not long ago I "re-read" one of the most popular parables in the bible and the revelation I got is strong and I thought to share on here. In Matthew 13:24-30, we were told of the parable of a farmer that sowed good seeds and while the workers slept, the enemy came and planted weed (tares).  These stood out for me, like never before: 1. The owner of the farm didn't seem surprised when the workers came to report the incidence. After all, there was no mention of the Farmer sleeping. This reminds me of what David said in Psalm 121:4 "Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.

Faithfulness in Small Things

Hello Sisters, It is great to be with you again (as always 😁) and as we consider this topic, I pray that the Holy Spirit will minister to you beyond the letters of this post. Literally everyone that was called to a higher purpose in the Bible was met doing the seemingly "little work" they had at the time. Let's take a look at some of these people: 1. Moses was tending to his Father-in-law's (put another way, his employer) flock when God spoke to him in the burning bush. (See Exodus 3) 2. David was tending his father's flock when he was anointed to be a king. (See 1Samuel16: 11-13) 3. Joseph was being the best while at Potiphar's house and at the prison, before the King sent for and enthroned him as Prime Minister in Egypt. (See Genesis 41:9-57) 4. Nehimah was serving as the Kong's cupbearer when he got a higher call to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. (See Nehemiah 1:11, Nehemiah 2) 5. Esther was serving her Uncle, Mordecai when the opport

Pray for the Kingdom

Hello Sisters, Happy New Month. I pray that this month of July will perfect all that concerns you and I, in Jesus Name. ---- A lot has been going on in the social space lately and the Church has been in the centre of one or two of these issues. Hence, why I feel the Holy Spirit is leading me to share on this subject of kingdom advancement prayers as we equip ourselves for His appearing. Praying for the kingdom is not old fashioned so do not let anyone talk out of it. Infact, we see this pattern in Jesus' (the Lords) prayer of Matthew 6:9-13. Especially in verses 9 and 10, Jesus said: "Pray like this: ‘Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven." - Matthew 6:9‭-‬10 TPT ----- When we pray for the kingdom we are certain it is His will so, we are assured of answers. Asides kingdom

Be Still

Hello Sis, I trust that your week has been off to a great start. -------- Waiting before God is not an invitation to meditate on a deeper revelation of you but to experience a deeper revelation of Him. Often times what We need to hear from God is to be still and quiet. Remaining still often requires more strength than striking. Stilled and silent is the best posture we can assume when we need to hear from God. No wonder David in Psalm 62:5 said "Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him." Furthermore, there are times when waiting quietly before God or being still becomes the best weapon we can adopt for God to be revealed to others. (Exodus 14:13-14) Only the spirit minded can be still before God because being still requires being dead to flesh, it's desires and control. I had an experience recently, and it's about how mind-full God is about us and it always require us being still. The encounter was so real, I was having a

GOD SPEAKS TO US

Hello Beautiful, I believe you are having an amazing month already. May the God of Israel defend you, preserve you and perfect all that concerns you. Amen! Today, I would like to share on something so talked about yet misconceived by many. A lot of times we ask, does God speak to us? I have at some point wondered if I was worthy of being spoken to by God despite being born again. The reason for these questions are not far-fetched, I felt God was too big and busy up there to speak to "little me". What a line of reasoning! Let me tell you how the Holy Spirit (HS) debunked this line of thought for me, he used my most superior boss (Godwin Emefiele) at work to illustrate this: HS: does Emefiele speak to you? Me: Yes, through my departmental directors and he does not even know me. From time to time, these directors re-emphasize to us the institution's vision and we are expected to be committed to it. HS: If your boss who does not know you speaks to you, how much m

If It's God, There's No Fear!

Hey Sisters, I apologize for the delay of this anticipated post as promised. So, I had said I was going to write next about how to hear from God and here you go! First, I will say that God's word only gives peace that quenches all doubts and fears. Now you might be thinking, "What about when he cautions me, will I still have a feeling of peace?" In this instance, when God cautions, instructs or reproves you, you are rather filled with conviction , not fear . Note that again, conviction and not fear! The devil is the mastermind of fear. Everything about him anchors on fear. He attacks the sound mind in us via fear and that's when we begin to doubt, get depressed, get confused and all that. If it's God telling you not to do something, there's no place for fear because God has no deal with fear. So Sis, while you are wondering and getting confused in knowing whether a word you received is from God or the devil, you should pay attention to the st

P.E.A.C.E

Hello Sis, How are you doing? Family, work and all?  Recently, I found myself thinking of what it means to have peace as a believer and I came to the realization that peace is not the absence of storm rather, it is the ability to remain calm in the midst of the storm.  As believers, it is our faith that births this peace. Our faith that, when we walk through fire, He is there with us. Our faith that, he knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb. Our faith that, we do not know tomorrow but we know the One that holds tomorrow. Our faith that, He causes ALL things to work together for our good. Our faith that, faithful is He who has called for he will also do. Our faith that, the thought he has for us are not of evil/disaster but to give us a hope and a good future. Our faith that, surely there is an end and our expectations would not be cut short. Our faith that, he is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask, think or imagine.  This made it appa

Crave His Voice!

Hey Sisters, Glad to be coming your way again this week. My last post was on " Am I Still God's Favorite? " I understand this question might arise from certain life challenging situations we find ourselves in. Honest truth is, you are and you will forever remain His favourite. Whatever the situation is, I want to remind you that, " Regardless, God is faithful and He has only the best intentions for you". A quick question: Have you had time with God as regards what you're going through? Like, have you sought His face to know His mind and hear His word? If you have, great! If you haven't, it isn't too late. Truth is, no one can soothe you, comfort you, cheer you like God Himself. Please, make out time to spend time seeking His face so you can get clarity, instruction, correction or direction as per that situation. Sis, you need to hear His voice, YOURSELF! It is your responsibility and for your own good as well. Find time and separate your

The Lover on the Wait List

The Lover on the Wait List  -Afolabi Bodunrin God desires us in our unclad form He passionately desires our bodies... to be his holy temple He cries for intimacy, the kind that reaches deep into the soul He longs to caress us with his kiss He planted the first kiss on our lips and spoke love to our hearts His love, he says is sweeter than fine wine    His arms wide open to shield us from the cold of life  He counts the hair on our heads and plants kisses on our forehead He tickles us with expensive gifts that we solemn show gratitude for. You are beautiful he says, perfectly imperfect are your features. Every line he caresses, every “thunder” he kisses, every flaw he loves. He doesn’t chastise, rebuke or reproof without love. He doesn’t hit or raise a finger in an attempt to show superiority. He says: “Come Unto me” “Let me be your Lover” “Let me romance your life” “Let me walk this journey with you” “Let me suck out your pain” “I ado

Am I Still God's Favorite?

Hey sisters, Sometimes, we are faced with certain situations that are overwhelming. These situations often make us doubt the faithfulness and love of God towards us. At those times especially, we see it happening so well for others and we begin to think, "oh, s/he must be God's favorite." At other times, we are not even only faced with a situation, they could be so much coming at us at the same time. Somehow, we lose hope and fear that we are also joining the statistics of depression victims. Hang on, SIS! God is faithful! He loves you! Never question His love. He knows exactly how you feel. Let your heart receive hope through Esther's story. She was also filled with a situation that almost took her life and that of her people. But Sis, she first went into the King's Court with praise by inviting him to dinner twice after which she then tendered her petition. I know you're in a haste to ask for a change of story, but first, thank God Sis.

Your Spouse's Business is Your Business

Hello Beautiful, Happy New month! I believe that you had an amazing April particularly the celebration of everything Jesus did by His death, burial, resurrection and ascension. It's the whole essence of the Christian journey. May we remain in Faith till the appearance of our Lord, Amen. Today, I'll be sharing from Genesis 3: I have studied this passage time and time again but this is the first time I am seeing that Adam was with Eve when the serpent was talking with her.The New Living Translation of Genesis 3:6 records that: "The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. This struck me because it implied that it is possible for someone to be around but not present. Being around is being physically/bodily in a place while being present means being physical

What Easter means to me

Beloved Sisters Happy Easter, I am so overwhelmed with the love of the Father as I hope that you are too. He is the reason we are connected. It is His name that brought us salvation and for these and more, I say Thank you Jesus. Going by the events surrounding Easter, it ought to be a season of soberness but on the contrary we are rejoicing. We are rejoicing because: 1. He demonstrated His love for us by sending the son to the cross. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 NLT 2. He swallowed up death in victory: "But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57 NLT 3. His death has made us more than conquerors: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37 NIV 4. "He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will n

Process over Product

Happy New month sisters, April is the fourth month of the year and number 4 represents completeness, my prayer is that God shall complete all that He's started in us, In Jesus Name. Being pregnant comes before the birth of any baby. Pregnancy is a process aimed at preparing parents towards the arrival of their child, 9 months is ample time for parents to prepare mentally, emotionally, financially and physically. One cannot be without the other, that is, without pregnancy there is no child even though after delivery, pregnancy (which is the process) vanishes to leave you with a child, which is the product. The product (child) often outlast the pregnancy, if Jesus tarries. This is a vivid illustration that God's intention is to build lasting products from the processes he takes us through. Take grapes for instance, it's end is the beginning of wine but before the wine, comes the crushing and fermenting of the grapes, which by no means is fun for the grapes. I sa

Precedence

Sisters, I strongly believe that you are doing very well and that the month of March has been awesome. Let's get a bit legal, shall we?😁 In law, a precedent is a legal case that establishes a principle or rule. Hence, in similar cases, the decision of the judge on any case is often swayed in line of the judgment previously given, "the precedence".  If the common law respects precedence how much more the spiritual.... Precedence is authority backed thus it breeds confidence. Our faith can be fired up if we bear this in mind, because we would be confident that if he did it before, he will do it again. When we are expecting something from God, getting a word from scriptures cannot be overemphasized. There's always a precedence for our request, leverage on it.  When a lawyer appears in court, he appears making reference to past similar cases and the judgment that were obtained.  To get results and be effective in prayers, we must understand what

Spiritually Aligned or Socially Accepted?

Dearest, I trust God that the week has been great for you. Not sure I have wished you my sisters happy international women's day, Happy International Women's Day. I want you to remember that you matter to God and He created you as a woman for a purpose: to influence, nurture, help, support, shield..... It would interest you to know that 50% of the world's population are women, the other 50% are born by women! 😁 What a privilege! To the admonition of this week: Genesis 3 revealed to us that, Eve engaged in a conversation with the serpent like most of us do (though not necessarily with the serpent 🤔) and she choose being 'socially accepted' (to know good and evil) over being spiritually aligned (sticking to God's instruction not to eat of the tree). This is the reality of most believers today. We engage in conversations (mind & mouth) that questions our spiritual stand and as a result begin to doubt the Word spoken to us by God. Do not be deceive

Nothing is too big for God

Hello Beautiful, I hope the month of March has been awesome for you. Here's what I would like to encourage you with this week: I travelled to Lagos quickly for a meeting and as we descended back into Abuja, I looked out the window and everything seem so small. Like really S.M.A.L.L. I believe strongly that it was no coincidence that my attention was drawn to this as I'm a lover of window seat whenever I am flying. I exclaimed in my thought 'God, is this how you see things from where you're seated?' it appears we don't take him 'seriously' when he said there's nothing too big for Him to handle. Not challenges, not barrier, not even riches! God seats in heaven and uses the earth as his foot stool. How amazing! That's why He that seats in heaven laughs (Psalm 2:5) No worry or area of concern that you're faced with can surmount the mightiness of our God. Everything was created by Him and for Him. Nothing would ever be above Him. It
