You Are Born For This

Hello Sis, Welcome to the last Tuesday of the month. Our best days are ahead of us and the lines are fallen for us in pleasant places in Jesus Name. A lot of times we go through phases that seem bigger than us. Phases we can't comprehend, phases we think we can't survive or aren't prepared for. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Philippians 4:13 AMPC The good news that we most times neglect is that, we've been made for this. To pass through fire and not smell like smoke. This God is ever faithful. He won it all for us on the cross and fabricated us to go through life and come out conquering. We might not be operating in this yet because we have not tapped into it. We have not because we ask not because everyone that asketh receiveth. Could it be that we are exhausted in this journey because w

Leave to Cleave

Hello Sis, I trust you are well. This is a line that is almost synonymous with marriage. Lol. Well I'm gonna be talking about marriage 😁 but not the earthly marriage. I'm talking about our marriage to the bridegroom - Jesus Christ. Read the book of Mark recently and I was stunned by how the first disciples Jesus called left ALL including parents and followed Jesus without asking any question. "And Jesus said to them, Come after Me and be My disciples, and I will make you to become fishers of men. And at once they left their nets and [yielding up all claim to them] followed [with] Him [joining Him as disciples and siding with His party]. He went on a little farther and saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were in [their] boat putting their nets in order. And immediately He called out to them, and [abandoning all mutual claims] they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and went off after Him [to be His disciples, side with Hi

Planted Not Buried

Hello Sis, I trust you are well. Sometime last year, I wrote about Psalm 1 and how we can be planted but the enemy uses our sensory perception to make us belief that we are dead. After all, the process is similar. Well this is another reminder to you sis. Even Though the process to being planted and buried looks pretty much the same, the result differs. Both are covered in the ground. The latter is covered forever while the former regenerates. Something that is buried is of no use while something that is planted is of use and in fact, of more use when it grows. A seed that is not planted will only remain a seed. On the other hand, a seed that is planted is a plant in the making. The question is, do you want to be a seed or a plant? But know that there is no plant without planting. It's a process we all must go through if we must maximize our full potential. More often the process seems dirty, hard, energy consuming, painful armies or even unpleasant. Would you rathe

Understanding Vs. Application

Hello Sis, Briefly today, I'd just make a few sentences in this post and leave you to meditate. Going through the book of Genesis 4, I got an understanding, "What differentiates a Christian from another is APPLICATION of understanding". Obviously, Cain and Abel both had a good understanding of giving but their application of 'that' understanding determined whose offering was going to be accepted or not. Let me make it more applicable to us. As Christians, we have the same WORD as our uniting chord. We read the same Word and perhaps hear the same Word. But, what brings about result in our lives isn't just the accumulation of the Word, or the understanding of the Word, but the right and total application of the Word. Truth is, a lot of Christians know and can even preach, but how many are applying- fully and rightly? What is your measure of the Word application-  full, partial or even casual? We are not different from those who do not have insight to

The Place of Prayer

Dear Sisters, I trust that you are doing very well. May this week be our week of possibilities and the supernatural. Speaking about the supernatural: The Place of Prayer is a major factor if we as believers must experience the supernatural. Let's take it to bible times, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Elijah, Elisah, Samuel, Jehoshaphat, Esther, Hezekiah, Nehemiah......and the list goes on, defied the natural through prayers. I know we've believed and prayed for things that are yet to manifest (the way we expected) in past years. I know it can be challenging praying and not getting result as desired. In the end, the only thing we can do is still to pray. Meanwhile, that God doesn't answer our prayers The way we've 'preplanned' the answer doesn't mean He did not answer. The Place of Prayer is our safe place and a place we cannot do without. Every time we pray something happens. Don't let the devil tell you otherwise. Things are altered. Though someti

Setting The Pace, 2018

Hello Sisters, I am excited writing to you in the first few days of the new year 2018. No doubt, several prophetic declarations have gone forth ahead of us, such that we are confident in God for a most fulfilling year. But, we need to war a good warfare. This is not a physical strife/war with man or known enemies. It is a spiritual warfare to RIGHTFULLY take that which has ALWAYS been ours. Many Churches are already in their fasting and prayers season, I urge you to be a part of one. We can't allow our stomachs to rub us off and of our glorious destinies. We can't allow a mere bucket of ice cream and pizza to chain us on the same spot. No, we are warriors- not by mouth, but with action. And no, you are not going to faint if you don't eat. Push yourself beyond the limit- you can stretch yourself. Trust in the Holy Spirit for strength and empowerment. Stand in the gap for your destiny. Settle the year. Plead your course. Table your case before Him and be sure to r

SEEK HIM

Happy New year Sisters, I trust you had a good and well rested holiday. Welcome to 2018, our year of newness, we haven't walked this road before but we know the One who has. Meanwhile, the holiday seemed short, it's the 2nd of January and I'm back to work 🤗🙏. I know it's that time of the year where everyone has new year resolutions. I have come to realise that it's not the 'new year resolutions' that guarantees result. It's seeking God that will guarantee the result. "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G you need." Matthew 6:33 NLT "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:6 NLT By seeking him you're putting your plans in His hands and putting your plans in His hands is the only way success can be guaranteed. Every individual who had good success sought God first: Joshua, Daniel, Joseph, Esther. Seeking God r
