Impact Your World

Dear Sisters, I count it a great privilege each time I am opportune to be here to share what our Father has laid in my heart for us this season. Such an honour, one that I remain grateful for. I hope you have had a November to remember. May God make all grace abound towards us all. Amen. I was at my desk at work when a retired staff of the institution walked in, and he began to greet everyone he knew from way back. While there was the feeling of excitement in the air, some thought and questions stirred up on my inside and the answer to my question is part of what informed today's post. Seeing this retired colleague made me say to myself "so it that all about life? Work for 35 years and then what?" Well, I got a nudge in response which said to me "you are made for more, to impact your world". Immediately the holy spirit reminded me of the bible passage I had read earlier in the day, 1 Peter 4:8‭-‬10 where Peter was admonishing believers on how to live...

Worrying in motion?

Dear Sisters, I want you to know that writing to you each time on this platform for me is always a privilege that I do not take for granted. I acknowledge that the grace of God is mighty in our midst, and each time the Word of God is shared; the breath of the Almighty is present. Welcome to the month of November, it shall be your best month yet. Your testimonies this month shall surpass all that you have experienced from January to October. Today's discussion isn't something that is unfamiliar.  I consider it one of the cliched subject matter. However, I pray that as you read, you will be blessed. Recently, on a Saturday, I took my second son for immunization, and while on our way, I felt we were running a bit behind the scheduled time for vaccination at the hospital. I wasn't the one driving, but I was driving. What I mean is that I was thinking of how fast the diver could have moved, how he could have avoided a port-whole for us to save time. I did this so much...

The Word of God in your Mouth

Hello Beautiful, We thank God for the outpouring of His presence at the just concluded Convention. We are thankful for the testimonies that abound and the lives that were transformed. To God alone be all the glory. The Word of God is so powerful that He had to become the word in flesh. The bible says "and without him was not anything made that was made". This says something: nothing can be created or altered outside the Word. The change we seek starts with the Word of God in our mouth. Let me give you the proper context of what I am talking about: "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone." - John 1:1‭-‬4 If we are Word made then everything about us must be word-controlled. We must always have the Wor...

This Prayer Thing!

Hello Dearest, I trust that you are doing well. It is with great pleasure that I share this message with you, which I believe, is the Word for the season. From the title, I am sure you already have an idea into what I will be sharing today and I trust God to simplify this to you beyond the letters here. At the beginning of the this month, September, God began to emphasise this to me through diverse platforms. From my book for the month - Fervent by Priscilla Shirer to the Word for the month in Church to the last two episodes of "My Jesus Experience" I watched on "MyLightHouse Tv" channel on YouTube to a WhatsApp group bible study, it has all been centred on "Prayer". "Prayer is a difference maker. An invitation for honesty, yes, for telling him how you feel - infused with the assurance and fearless confidence that comes from God's promises." - Priscilla Shirer  Remember the bible says to us that "men always ought ...

Leaning on your Understanding?

Hello Beautiful! It is my pleasure to be here, sharing with you one of the things I believe our Father wants you to hear this season. Before we proceed, I would like to remind you that you matter to God and He is "crazy" about you. So much so, He knows each strand of your hair and you worth much more than a flock of sparrow (Matthew 10:31, Luke 12:7). What a privilege! Take time to meditate on that, He is such a loving Father.  Let's dive right in: On a beautiful evening, I was in my room searching and writing Scriptures concerning my boys when my older son walked in and insisted on having a paper and scissors. To do what, I asked? He responded in many words but clearly I understood that he wanted to cut it into shapes, particularly Circle, Triangle and Square shapes. I obliged him and gave him what he asked for with the hope that, that would keep him busy while I do my thing.  Few minutes into doing what he thought he could do, he would not just le...

The Wheat and The Weed

Dear Sisters, I trust the month of August has been (and will be) filled with divine encounters for you.  A word of encouragement before we dive right into what God has for us today: "Sometimes a drag in your faith and spiritual fire could mean you're doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing and doing it well, at that." - Priscilla Shirer  Not long ago I "re-read" one of the most popular parables in the bible and the revelation I got is strong and I thought to share on here. In Matthew 13:24-30, we were told of the parable of a farmer that sowed good seeds and while the workers slept, the enemy came and planted weed (tares).  These stood out for me, like never before: 1. The owner of the farm didn't seem surprised when the workers came to report the incidence. After all, there was no mention of the Farmer sleeping. This reminds me of what David said in Psalm 121:4 "Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps....
